ONE OF an inevitable surge of plays attempting to explore the psyche of mass murderer Anders Breivik, this is an intense and well directed piece, but one that fails to tell us anything the many news reports and documentaries haven’t already.

Delivered very loudly by an Australian cast, it has all the facts but no new insights into what led to the horrific killings on the island of Utøya and in Oslo. The victims are barely mentioned and it’s difficult not to feel this is the kind of morbidly fascinated drama they would hate and Breivik would relish
